DESCRIPTION:Building a successful business requires vision\, and the coordination of efforts in several areas.  The process of starting and running a business can be overwhelming without a good plan. A good solution to understanding all of the moving parts of your business is to write a business plan. \nIn this webinar we will discuss: \n-The internal and external purposes of a business plan \n-A review of the types of plans: Traditional\, one page\, Canvas\, Pitch Deck \n-Writing strategies and tips\, including length\, format\, time goals. \n-Review of all sections: Executive summary\, Mission/vision\, Products & Services\, Mgmt. &Team\, Marketing\, Operations and Financing \n-Review of Start-up costs and Projected Profit and loss projections in Excel \nAll participants will receive a copy of PowerPoint\, Excel financial projection forms and business plan template after the webinar. \n  \nInstructor: Charlie Lowe (SBDC Advisor) Over the last 20 years\, he has acted as a consultant to the Small Business Development Centers and Centers for International Trade Development for El Camino Community College\, Long Beach City College\, and for Loyola Marymount University.
