WEBINAR Biz Basics: What Business Should I Start?

Jul 23 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Thinking of starting a business, but not sure what kind? You’re not alone.

Many aspiring entrepreneurs are fueled by passion and the dream of being their own boss—but often lack clarity on the type of business that truly fits their strengths, lifestyle goals, and market realities.

In this interactive 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Clarify your personal motivations and entrepreneurial strengths
  • Explore and compare different business models
  • Evaluate your business ideas with practical tools
  • Identify the type of business that aligns with your life vision
  • Understand what starting and running a business really requires

Through guided self-assessments, real-world insights, and examples of both successful and struggling startups, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of what business YOU should start—and why.

This session is ideal for aspiring business owners who are still in the idea stage or struggling to decide between multiple opportunities.

Instructor: Larry Johnson (SBDC Advisor) has been a core advisor at the SBDC since 2012. His dual specialties are in the food & beverage industry, as well as debt and equity consulting.
